Q. Do you manage websites that you didn't develop?
Absolutely! Our maintenance service has nothing to do with the website development service. While we offer the maintenance services to our development clients as well, it is open to everyone with a WordPress website. In fact, most of our maintenance customer didn’t use our website building when they signed up.
Q. Do you provide web hosting for the sites that you maintain?
The maintenance service and web hosting are two entirely different thing. Your website would still be hosted at your old host or moved to a new host (migration is free of cost) if you accept our recommendation based on your case. But the difference would be that you would have a professional wordpress developer managing the speed, functioning and security of your website.
Q. Do you optimize the websites for speed & core web vitals?
Yes, we optimize every website we take over for speed, security, updates and bloat optimization etc. among other things. We work very hard to ensure your website loads in the fastest time possible i.e., we fight for every milliseconds. While we ensure the best possible speed, and almost all of the websites under our maintenance pass the core web vitals scores, there could be many cases where they do not due to reasons beyond our control. These reasons could be a slow web host, use of bloated themes and plugins among other things. In those cases, we would however provide you the most optimum solution at our industry best priced wordpress services.
Q. Do I need to pay for any subscription or cost of plugins involved?
No, we have agency licenses for all the products needed for the security and any subscription needed for our standard process is already covered in the cost of the monthly plans.
We however, do not cover services that we generally do not recommend for standard optimizations, but maybe necessary for specific cases. A good example of this may include Nitropack, which we usually do not recommend because we consider the service to fall in the gray area. But this could still be the last resort for some unique customers and in those cases, the customer would have to cover the cost.
Q. Do you also manage WooCommerce websites?
Of course! We offer maintenance plans specifically aimed at supporting a WooCommerce webshop. Websites with advanced functionality such as these require our performance plan because we must have resources at our disposal to help you as by any means. So if we make sure that you have the right plan, we can help you keep your website safe and fast.
Q. What if an update breaks the website?
Q. What access will you need to my site(s)?
In order to properly provide our service to you, we need full wordpress admin logins for the backend of your site along with FTP logins. In certain situations we may also need to request logins for DNS management and access to cPanel i.e., your web hosting and domain account.
Q. How long does it take to get set up?
This is dependent on a few factors such as how big your site is, the hosting situation etc. However, generally speaking, we’re able to start setting a website up on our maintenance system within an hour or two. Pretty quick, right?!
